First things first: Is a Personal Brand photo session right for you?
You should consider a PBP session if:
Now that you are clear that you need a PBP session, you start researching online or asking for referrals. You will find yourself overwhelmed with the endless possibilities out there.
But how do you choose which photographer is the right one for you? How do you know if their style will fit with your vision? How do you know if they are capable to “get you”? These are some of the questions that I am sure run through your mind when deciding to hire a photographer.
When someone finds me on the web, I like to take a lot of the guesswork out of it for ftem from the minute they contact me.
Here’s how I am hoping that choosing Monica NInker Photography is more a professional experience since the first minute a potential client get in touch with me. This is the process for my Personal Branding Photo Sessions:
STEP 1: FREE CONSULTATION
Each brand and person is unique. Everyone has a story to tell, and in order to visually tell yours, I have to get to know you so we will start with a 30 minute phone call or Zoom meeting to get to know you! We will discuss dates, and will explain my photography packages to you. After this initial “meeting” I will send an emal with my pricing/booking information. You get a quick rundown before even signing the contract or paying the retainer fee.
STEP 2: WELCOME PACKET
After booking your session, signing the contract and paying a retainer I will send, via email, my Welcome Packet. It includes: A simple questionnaire to get clear on who you are, and what kind of brand statement you want to make, where will you use your new images; What to Wear Guide, List of Locations, My Guide on how to pose, etc.
At the same time we will share a Pinterest board to start learning what you visually identify with.
STEP 3: VISUAL BRANDING/STORYTELLING STRATEGY SESSION
We will get together to discuss your answers to the questionnaire, By the end of the session we will have cleared out everything from where are you going to use your new images to wardrobe, to location, to props and set up a date for your photo session. A few days later, You’ll receive a photo shoot prep guide that will resume everything we went through during our meeting and get you confident to the day itself!
STEP 4. PHOTO SESSION
THE FUN DAY IS HERE!
We will meet in the first location selected and check on wardrobe, hair and makeup (add-on services).
Once you are feeling settled in and comfortable we start snapping photos, Like most people I photograph, you’re probably not a model, a bit apprehensive (or a lot) and not sure if you’re going to look good anyway… well, that’s not a problem, because I will coach you, step by step, patiently giving you the time so you ‘get it’, on how to pose and how to get the right expression to bring out your energy, you’ll even forget that the camera is there.
I will never, ever to tell you to say “Cheese” (that’s cheesy :)) – We’ll talk, laugh and create together an experience that you will love, I suggest to book a date with your significant other because you will look and feel like a rockstar!
STEP 5. PHOTO DELIVERY
Within 7 days following your shoot, I will send you a link to your private gallery online where you can select your favorite ones, up to the amount of the package selected. One week after selecting your favorite ones, I will upload them to your private gallery where you can download your retouched digital files.
You’ll also be able to view and purchase additional images (if available).
